We are a private practice looking for a fully licensed Masters level LMHC therapist.
Expectations include but are not limited to:
Must possess strong knowledge of Behavioral Services; knowledge of DSMIV diagnostic criteria and appropriate treatment planning for the various diagnostic categories; knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and professional standards; good communication skills; demonstrates personal traits of a high level of motivation; team orientation; professionalism; trust; and place a high value on treating others with dignity and respect.
Willingness to comply with any mandated licensure or certifications.
Provides evaluation, psychosocial history and assessments.
Conducts therapy sessions with patient by doing individual, group and family and/or significant other counseling and education to assist these individuals in achieving defined treatment goals.
Must be capable of learning basic computer skills for the implementation of patient/client information electronic record keeping.
Responds to emergency calls from current or potential clients, demonstrating the ability to provide crisis intervention or support services.
Refers clients for medication services, psychological testing, therapy groups, and other services as clinically indicated.
Keeps current with advances in the therapy field through continuing education, seminars/conferences, professional societies and journals, etc.
